RESOLUTION

On purchase of PFIZER COVID-19 vaccines for children aged from 5 to under 12

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Governmental Organization dated June 19, 2015; Law on amendments to the Law on Governmental Organization and the Law on Local Government Organization dated November 22, 2019;

Pursuant to the Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases dated November 21, 2007;

Pursuant to the Law on Procurement dated November 26, 2013;

Pursuant to Conclusion No. 20-KL/TW dated October 16, 2021 of the 4th Conference of the 13^th Party Central Committee, Conclusion No. 16-KL/TW dated October 8, 2021 of the Politburo, Notice No. 18-TB/VPTW dated December 4, 2021 of the Office of the Party Central Committee, Dispatch No. 2717-CV/VPTW of December 24, 2021 of the Office of the Party Central Committee;

Pursuant to Decree No. 138/2016/ND-CP dated October 01, 2016 of the Government on Working Regulations of the Government of Vietnam;

HEREBY DECIDES:

Article 1. Approving the Prime Minister's permission to apply the form of contractor selection in the special cases specified in Article 26 of the Law of Procurement for the purchase of 21,9 million doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children aged from 5 to under 12 with conditions as same as those prescribed in Resolution No. 09/NQ-CP dated May 18, 2021 of the Government on purchase of COVID-19 vaccine BNT162 from Pfizer.

Article 2. The Ministry of Health is responsible for contents mentioned in the Statement No. 2096/TTr-BYT dated December 12, 2021 and organizes purchase of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines and vaccination thereof for children aged from 5 to 12 in a scientific, safe and effective manner.

Article 3. This Resolution comes into force from the day on which it is signed.

The Minister of Health, Ministers, Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementation of this Resolution./.
